Monday Musings, {two}

Welcome to another edition of Monday Musings!

I think some hot chocolate would just about hit the spot this morning. How about you? Well, grab a mug and pull up a chair. It won't hurt if you stay awhile.

I've decided that I need a "regular" blogging schedule. Otherwise I get slightly frantic about having to post every day, and then the quality of posts goes down (in my opinion). Do any of you have suggestions? How do you decide when to post? I would really appreciate any help you can give me!

Today I realized that Christmas is only 40 days away. Oh my. Why is it that the older you get, the quicker time goes by, and the slower you want it to go by? Just doesn't make much sense to me...

Well, there's really not a whole lot on my mind this morning. Be sure to check out the giveaway and tell me about your blogging schedules!

I have a weekly grid that I fill out at the beginning of each week. Each day has three spots for ideas. For example: Monday may have three topics listed, so you've got three weeks covered. Tuesday may only have one, so once you've written about that, check it off and think about what to fill that remaining two spots with.
Keep in mind that life may give you even better topics then what you've planned for, so share those special musings at any given point and then save your planned posts for when you're having a hard time coming up with something. It's just a useful tool that's helped me. It's just a guide and can be tweaked to your preference. I certainly don't blog everyday either. For me, if I feel like I HAVE to write everyday, it becomes a burden and I want it to be something I enjoy as well as my readers.
Hope this helps!

I don't have a schedule. I just post when I have something to post! I do keep a little notebook with me to jot down "to dos" and "to blogs" so when something happens I can remember to blog it later. Especially great for all the little things the kids say at Awana! Then, there are always tutorial posts or things like that that I can post if I'm low on material. You know, if I have time.
